Thenford Summerhouse, Northamptonshire. 1980 -1982.

This small summerhouse is a Baroque essay in Clipsham and Hornton stone, employing half-engaged and fluted Corinthian and Composite pilasters with square and circular gadrooned finials and smooth and rusticated walling. The use of numbers governs the design, with the intercolumniation being three at the ends, four at the sides and five in the middle. All proportions relate to the bottom diameter in whole imperial numbers.
